AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! I am from Canada and was down in Yuma for the winter months when my back and ribs were bugging me quite a bit that I couldn't do the things I love which is pickleball, hiking, and cycling. I googled physiotherapists and a few came up. I contacted two other physiotherapists and they said they could not fit me in anytime soon and that I needed a doctor's referral, I then phoned Elicent and Iyke picked up the phone and I explained my situation to him. He immediately made an appointment for me and put me on the cancellation list. The next day I received a call saying they have an immediate opening the next day so I went it. Iyke was amazing, I have never been to a physiotherapist that actually stayed with me the entire appointment and was caring and explained everything he was doing. The appointment consisted of an adjustment, dry needling, massage and cupping, which is so different from our physiotherapists in Canada which usually only use a TENS machine and a heating pad. After one appointment I felt so much better and I continued to go and see Iyke for a few more weeks. I was able to start hiking, pickleball and cycling which I am so happy about. I highly recommend Iyke you will not be disappointed. The only recommendation I would say is to book ahead as he is so good that he is very booked up, but they definitely try to accommodate everyone with a cancellation list which worked for me a couple of times.

How does one truly thank someone for saving their life? I had to sustained a work injury that went undiagnosed for 4 1/2 months. It turned out I had been walking on a fractured medial condyle, a bone end of my femur. After surgery, ("gently grinding off the end of the bone"
), the refusal to order no more than 8 physical therapy sessions, and then refused any further treatment by the surgeon as he couldn't do anything more. I also had an employer that continued to insist that my injury was "fake", and would push me outside of work restrictions. I had been in constant pain ranging from 8-9/10 for 11 months and needing a walker or crutches to ambulate. I had been referred to pain management, and had to trial two medications before some relief, but then I was introduced Iyke. After 2 two treatments with Iyke doing dry needling, electrical stimulation, Massage, and Physical Therapy, I had regained 90% of my range of motion with a pain level of four out of 10. I have now had six sessions and have zero pain and I have returned to work at full capacity(new employer!)
Dr Rouff asked what I had been doing and I shared Iyke's contact information with him, encouraging him to refer his patients for relief. Having been a nurse of 26 years, alternative therapies DO work. Not only is he an angel, Iyke is a master at pain relief, Physical Therapy, and providing compassionate care. If you are in pain and don't want to be, make an appointment with Dr. Iyke at Elicent! I have tried so many ways to find relief. Before dry needling, I had severe stabbing pain in my knee. It was disrupting my day-to-day quality of life. I couldn't even sit on the couch for 1/2 an hour to watch a show without ice, heat, moving positions, and taking pain medication. (Let alone sleep through the night). Dr. Iyke is by far the kindest and most attentive practitioner I've met. He asks relevant questions and actually listens to the answers. It is clear that Dr. Iyke strives to understand your specific concern and cares about treating the source. He explains anatomy and physiology in a way that is easy to understand. Iâve had my share of physical therapy for back and neck problems (five spinal surgeries) over the yearsâŠ.Iyke is by far the best physical therapist that Iâve ever had. I came for physical therapy for my hip pain. The therapy really helped and Iyke gave complete attention with all my questions answered thoroughly. In addition my right knee is in bad shape and he suggested Dry Needling. I can say without a doubt my knee feels so much better after 4 treatments. I am now postponing the surgery!
